The City of Prague, working with the Prague 6 - Suchdol municipal district, provides assistance in the form of serviced accommodation for persons affected by Covid-19, namely for those who have been ordered by the authorities to self-isolate at home but are unable to do so.

PR New Town Hall offered entry to tower to Old Town Hall visitors

(Prague 15. 1. 2018) During the reconstruction of the Old Town Hall tower, Prague City Tourism has established cooperation with New Town Hall management. From May to December 2017 visitors have been given the opportunity to visit the Old Town Hall underground, its chapel and historic halls and to climb the New Town Hall tower with one ticket.

PR In December more than 700 000 visitors will come to Prague

(Prague 5. 12. 2017) According to Prague City Tourism estimates in December approximately 650 000 visitors will stay in Prague hotels, hostels, guesthouses and similar types of accommodation. Almost 280 000 visitors will come to the capital to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve. 70 000 one – day visitors from the Czech Republic will come for shopping and the Christmas markets.

Prague attracts an increasing number of visitors

(Prague 8. 8. 2017) In the second quarter of 2017 more than 2 076 000 tourists visited Prague, which is 11,1% more than the previous year. The extensive increase in arrivals from Russia continues, and the number of visitors from South Korea, Spain and India mounted as well.

Russian tourists returning to Prague

(Prague 20. 5. 2017) In the first quarter of 2017 1 380 000 people visited Prague, who altogether spend 3 200 000 nights here. Prague City Tourism recorded a significant increase in a number of visitors coming from Russia. In the first three months of 2017, we see 52.3 % more than the previous year.
